Last weekend I browsed through Pete's Froutique with Leanne, a common place thing to do on the weekends. I was scouring for ingredients for the previous pasta dish I was going to make. We went our separate ways in the store and met up again at the cash register to pay for our goods. In Leanne's hand was a one of the many delicious looking prepare salad that they offer- this one of chick peas and sundried tomatoes, raisins and almonds. Though I didn't taste it, the idea stuck with me this week and I created my own kind of salad, minus the raisins and almonds, plus wild rice and a few others.
